I’m actually speechless! I got to have a photo with them! They were soooo good, I couldn’t believe how they can get changed so quick and how much they sounded like Little Mix! I loved their singing, I loved EVERYTHING!!! 😍

We Love Little Mix at The Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone, Kent - Review

We went to The Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone, to see the 'We Love Little Mix' Tribute show and had a brilliant evening.

As you have probably worked out by now, we love going to the theatre, but we also love going to concerts, so when we heard our boy's favourite pop group, Little Mix's tribute act were coming to town we were thrilled to be invited to be there too!

The show lasted an impressive two whole hours, which if you went to the O2 arena to see Little Mix themselves I'm sure would be the maximum running time. They covered many hits like 'Oops', 'Power', ‘DNA’, ‘Love me like you’ and our very favourite, 'Shout out to my ex'

The live singing and energetic dancing were totally on point and there must have been at least 6 fab Little Mix style costume changes!

The audience absolutely loved it and were bopping away as if we were at a child friendly Wembley Arena! The kids at one point actually created a conga and the mum's were throwing some pretty epic shapes too!

I bumped into a friend there and she said...

I think this is just as much for us mum’s, we are all having a great time

All in all everyone had a really great time and Jodie, Lucy, Natalie & Carolyn, who formed 'We Love Little Mix' we're full of energy, with great dance routines and who actually sang and danced really well! They not only sang Little Mix hits, but they also threw in a couple of covers from the likes of Rihanna & Rita Ora too!

After the show, the girls came out for a meet and greet and were full of smiles for the kids, who waited excitedly for their pictures to be proudly taken.

My boy was beside himself! He obviously knew it wasn't the real Little Mix, but was ridiculously excited none the less. The girls were great with their excited fans and welcomed them with nothing but politeness, smiles and warmth.

After the show, we popped next door for a cheeky Nandos, it took us a while to calm the kids down, much to the other diner's joy, but once they did we enjoyed our meal and talked very excitedly about the many highlights of the show.

Would we recommend the 'We Love Little Mix' tribute show? Er, YES!!... Absolutely!!! The kids loved it, us Mum's loved it and I'm pretty sure the Dad's would do too!

What do we think of The Hazlitt Theatre? Love, love, LOVE!!... The size of the auditorium is a perfect size for an intimate theatre experience, it's easy to get to and the choice of shows from adults only to family friendly are just fab. You get touring comedians, sometimes of BIG names, you have lovely CBeebies shows, wonderful annual Pantos with star casts, music shows, ballet, the list goes on! And with the wonderful choice of restaurants locally, including some rather yummy ice cream parlours, you have yourself a wonderful afternoon / evening out with friends and family! What can be better than that?

If you would like to know what family shows are coming to Kent soon, we have a wonderful choice listed on our ‘Children’s Theatre in Kent’ page and you can find it by clicking here.

Have you seen any tribute bands that are any good, or are there any you would like to see? If so, please comment below and I will be sure to send any feedback to The Hazlitt Theatre.
