Footy For Tots - Toddler & Children's Football Lessons in & Around Maidstone, Kent.

Things for kids in Kent is pleased to bring you Footy For Tots, a wonderful service offering lovely football lessons for children aged from 18 months old to 7 Years old, who provide a fun and safe environment for children to begin their love for football while developing key movement and social skills along the way.

Footy For Tots run sessions at four different age groups, which allows your child to get the best possible experience, while having lots of fun with friends of a similar age. Their sessions are themed every week with a new theme every Term.

Footy For Tots advise that all children come with a drink, water or juice, nothing fizzy. As long as your child is comfortable they can wear any clothing they like, as long as there is nothing too loose that could cause a trip to themselves or others. It is advised to wear sporty clothing, same goes for footwear.

There are four main aged group sessions, although all Tots and children develop at different stages and this is monitored during the Term. Footy For Tots aim to challenge all children appropriately so they get the best possible experience while attending their session, so may or may not move age groups immediately after their birthdays.

The Four Aged Groups are:

Little Boots (18 months – 3 1/2 years)

This age group is aimed at Tots within the age range of 18 months – 3 1/2 years old. At this age your child will need some support from their grown up as they develop their key social skills. Sessions will involve developing their key motor skills and Tots will be introduced to some of our SUPER SKILLS such as; Little Kicks (Dribbling), Big Kicks (Running with the ball), Squashing the ball (Ball Control), Fast Tippy Toes (Movement) & lots more! All sessions will end with the chance to score plenty of Super Goals.

Big Boots (3 years – 5 years)

This age group is aimed at Tots who are confident 3 year olds and Tots in their final year of pre-school and will be starting full time school the following September. At this age your child will become more independent and their grown up can relax and enjoy seeing their child having lots of fun. Sessions will continue to develop key motor skills while continuing to develop basic football skills through fun games. During our Big Boots sessions, we also introduce our Tots to more advanced Supper Skills such as; Squash and Wash, Squash and Jump & lots more! Each session ends with a game of Tackle Time where our Tots can score some Super Goals.

Mixed Boots (18 Months – 5 Years)

This age group runs similar to our Little Boots sessions and is suitable for Tots of all abilities. We are able to challenge our more advanced Tots individually while making the session fun and suitable for all ages. Sessions will involve developing their key motor skills and Tots will be introduced to some of our SUPER SKILLS such as; Little Kicks (Dribbling), Big Kicks (Running with the ball), Squashing the ball (Ball Control), Fast Tippy Toes (Movement) & lots more! All sessions will end with the chance to score plenty of Super Goals.

Mini Soccer (4 Years - 7 Years)

Mini-Soccer is the next step for our little budding football stars. Our Mini-Soccer sessions are for children in school year Reception & Year 1. All our sessions are designed to encourage players to be confident with the ball at their feet and feel comfortable to take risks to help develop creativity on the ball.
