We were thrilled to be invited down to The Orchard Theatre in Dartford, Kent last night to the press night of their amazing Pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk and what can I say, it was every bit of awesome you could imagine a Panto to be … Oh yes it was!

The scenery was absolutely breath-taking, the colours were vibrant and quirky, the costumes were beautiful and it was not just funny, but very perfectly cheeky for both the kids and the adults too!

It was exactly as you’d expect a Pantomime to be, full of fun and laughter, some slap-stick comedy and some very clever dialog, which included an incredibly impressive and dangerous tongue-twister sketch and a fun little story involving some items you’d pick up in the supermarket!

The stars of the show included the legendary Christopher Biggins, who played a rather saucy and vibrant Dame, ‘Milkshake’ presenter, Kiera-Nicole who played ‘Apricot’, the beautiful Princess, ‘The Big, Big Talent Show’sRikki Jay, who played an energetic and multi-talented ‘Silly Simon Trot’ and together with the rest of the wonderful cast brought an amazing festive show, for the whole family to enjoy.

The kids laughed their heads off and the Mums and Dads booed theirs socks off, everyone got involved with the cheering, the singing and even the little dance off with the other side of the auditorium, the kid’s faces were full of joy. It is fun, it is endearing, it is pure delight! … and we urge you to all go see it!
