Sleuth Review at The Orchard Theatre in Dartford
We went along to The Orchard West Theatre to see the thriller play ‘Sleuth’ written by the very clever Anthony Shaffer and we quickly found ourselves plunged into a gripping world of mystery, deception, and psychological challenges!
The story follows Andrew Wyke, a successful, wealthy and famous mystery writer, as he engages in a deadly game of minds with his wife's young lover, Milo Tindle. As the two men entangle themselves in a dangerous battle of mind games and traps, the boundaries between reality and fiction blur, leading to a shocking and unexpected conclusion keeping the audience captivated until the very end.
Andrew Wyke is played by Todd Boyce, known for the role of ‘Stephen Reid’ in ITV’s Coronation Street and Milo Tindle was played by Neil McDermott, best known for playing ‘Ryan’ in Eastenders. Their complex and cleverly inventive script brought their amazing talent to the stage, allowing the audience to be gripped throughout.
With its intricate plot twists, dynamic characters and its razor-sharp dialogues ‘Sleuth’ is a timeless classic that will keep you on the edge of your seat and keep you guessing from beginning to end!
